Hancock heroics see off Hardwicke

Eastington enjoyed a good win over Hardwicke thanks to Paul Hancock. Eastington posted 210-6 with Roger Beese scoring 79, Alan Shackwell 51 and Hancock 33. Hancock then took 5-27 as Hardwicke were dismissed for 81. Mike Hewitt hit 56 of Painswick III's 148 all out against Frocester V. Jack Gillett took 4-55 and Seb Dix 3-8 for the visitors. Dix then hit an unbeaten 65 to lead Frocester V to a 7 wicket win. Rob Heliwell took 5-25 and Pars Ghadali 4-16 as Whitminster gained the upper hand at Stone III. Graham Toms was then unbeaten on 25 to see the league leaders to a 9 wicket win. Tom Williams took 5-8 and Wayne Fisher 4-41 as Stroud III were dismissed for 87. Uley responded in fine fashion to record an eight wicket win. Clubs will be fined for non notifcation of scores via play-cricket. Summary results (including rain offs) must be entered by 12 noon Sunday with full results entered by Wednesday p.m. And please use the Fair Play Marks facility on this page to enter marks for Fair Play, Pitch, Outfield and Tea!!
