Here's a new page for the website and it offers a glimpse into the life of a wonderful Hobbit, James Cunneen. After years of staying out of the limelight Jim came back to prominence as roving reporter for Shortwood United F.C. writes Jim Cunneen. However, scratch the surface of Jim Cunneen and you'll find far less than just a bald, portly little fella, often mistaken for Hercule Poirot with 'zee leetle grey cells'. Our hard working secretary and most respected umpire, is well known around the area as a genial litte poppit. In fact, at last week's Under 13 cricket final which was officiated by the little master, we managed to catch a rare action shot of Bilbo Baggins. It's remarkable in at least two ways. One, he's moving and even more remarkably he's smiling. Perhaps it's the bottle of wine he's been presented with for officiating. Bless ! More pictures and no doubt a Cunneen rebuke to come.
