Pink Balls
The response we've so far had for the Pink balls we are using in junior cricket and for Evening Senior matches has been very positive. We do have more pink balls in stock at very reasonable prices. If you would like to purchase additional balls please contact admin@sdca-cricket.co.uk.
Cricket Club Grants
Did you know (or had you forgotten that...) the Lords Taverners scheme allows you to purchase (or FREE for Kwik Cricket kit) a bag of kit for Youngsters for just £25 EVERY YEAR. In addition we have some info on small grants opportunities and other Grant Aid. If interested contact admin@sdca-cricket.co.uk.
Changes to ECB Directives
THE ECB has recently made amendments to The Safe Hands list of documents - in particular there are changes to Fast Bowling Directives and Junior Cricketers playing in Open Age cricket - this will affect Under 13's who cannot now play in Open Age Cricket without written consent. You can view the new guidelines by visiting the ECB website and searching for 'Safe Hands'.
Youth Sponsorship
The league is currently looking for a Youth sponsor, or a few smaller sponsors for both senior and junior cricket. If you are interested please contact admin@sdca-cricket.co.uk
