Under 15 Fixtures 2012
Under 15 Fixtures are now available online and the main Youth organisers have been emailed. Dates, venues etc. can be changed with agreement of opposition,please notify Dave Howell of any changes. Managers must contact each other during the weekend prior to their fixture,to discuss team strengths and prevent any mismatches. The experiment with bonus points has been abandoned (all rules are on website) - a reminder all batsman must declare once they have scored 50 runs. Dates for the cup competitions must be adhered to.Home team to offer two possible dates to opposition if no date allocated. Senior Cup Draw
The U15 Senior Cup, where the winners go forward to represent the District in the National Cup has been made and sees Cam A play Painswick on 10th May (doubles up as league fixture). Winners then will play Frocester by the 21st May to determine a competition winner.
Junior K.O. Cups Final Day - Frampton
A Finals Day where the ALL K.O. Cups (U11/13/15) will be played will take place at Frampton CC on Sunday 1st July.
News Following the Youth Meeting
For those that could not attend the Youth Meeting held at Minch CC in Autumn last year the news is that the Youth Leagues will continue to run as per previous seasons. The League organisers were concerned about a number of 'mis-matches' where clubs won or lost heavily. Club Organisers have been advised that they should contact opponents to discuss team strength prior to the game to ensure teams are relatively similarly matched.
Frampton Under 17's
Frampton are looking for friendly games for their Under 17 (with a few U15's) on Sunday afternoons this season. The team is 'not ready' for the longer GYL leagues but are keen to play friendlies. Can you help? Contact Jeannette Tate - jeanette.tate@tarryfamily.co.uk
District Coaches Required
The GCB have a couple of vacancies for District coaches and managers. There is payment of £50 per day available for 6 Sunday matches, mainly during the first half of the season.
